Roger Federer defeated Robin Soderling in the French Open 2009 Finals 6-1, 7-6 (1), 6-4. Federer breezed through the first set 6-1. Soderling picked up his game in the second set but dropped in the third.
Federer now has completed the grand slam, winning all four majors, not in one year but all of them together.
He has also tied Pete Sampras's record of 14 grand slams. He could now possibly be the greatest player of all time.
